To help us provide a personal service we encourage you to see your named doctor whenever possible. We have other doctors working with us for a year, completing their higher qualification in General Practice, as well as doctor assisting the practice on a part-time basis.
The surgery is open from 8:00am until 18:30pm and appointments can be made in person or by telephone. The receptionist will offer you the next available appointments. If there are no free appointments and your need is urgent, please say so to the receptionist who will arrange for you to see a doctor as soon as possible. We also have telephone appointments available of a daily basis. Please ask the receptionist.
The earlier you phone the more likely it is that there will be a free appointment.
It is helpful if you can manage morning appointments.
Appointments can be booked up to six weeks in advance
For routine and non-urgent appointments it is best to book an appointment at least a week before it is required.
Please remember to make separate appointments for each person to be seen.
If your child needs to be seen: Please come to the surgery if possible.
If you think you may have an infectious disease: Please ask to sit in an examination room and not in the waiting room.
Please cancel booked appointments if you are unable to attend.
The surgery offers extended hours for people who work and cannot attend during normal daytime hours. We have appointments available earlier and later on Mondays, and are open on one Saturday in the month. Please ask the receptionist for details.
A wheel chair is available for those who find the ramp difficult. Please ask the receptionist.
Talking to the doctor on the telephone:
If you wish to speak to a doctor by phone, please ask for a "telephone appointment" and give your phone number. You will be given a time and the doctor will phone you back as near to this time as possible.
