TARGET is a scheme that brings our city’s GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs together every two months to learn new skills, hear about new treatments and share good practice.
We think it will mean better services all round – that’s what we’re aiming for!
It means that Lordshill Health Centre will need to close for one afternoon every two months but we will ensure that medical care will be available when you need it.
On these dates the Surgery will be closed for staff training from 1:30pm and re-open the following day at 8:00am.

During this time, if you require medical care (non-life threatening), call 111. If you require emergency life threatening care, call 999 for an ambulance.
TARGET stands for Time for Audit Research Governance Education and Training and all of these things are important in ensuring that surgery staff can do their jobs as effectively as possible.
